Olá pessoal,

Após dois anos escrevendo o blog em inglês finalmente chegou a hora de dividir ideias e experiências em português. A profissão de professional organizer ainda é nova no Brasil, mas todo mundo adora uma dica de organização, não é mesmo?

Vou tirar uns meses de férias para colocar a casa em ordem, mas volto logo logo com fotos de novos projetos e vídeos.

This is not brand new news, but it’s good news indeed! HomeGoods opened a new branch  located at 795 Columbus Ave. (99th and Columbus) and the store is huge!

I’ve always liked HomeGoods products and prices, but it was a hassle to rent a car and drive far away to find one. Now this problem is solved with just one cab ride!

Today is National Clean Up Day! You didn’t know this “holiday” even existed? Neither did I! After hearing about it from my very talented and organized friend, Carla, I decided to do some research, and here’s what came out:

It all started with the Jewish – Tuesday is National Cleanup Day, in accordance with Israel’s Maintenance of Cleanliness Law. The cleanup day is held, by law, on the last Tuesday of the Hebrew month of Adar.

The objective of the day, according to the law, is “to increase public awareness of maintaining cleanliness in open and public spaces and of environment protection.”

The law states that on National Cleanup Day, “education and information activities on… cleanliness and… environment, including recycling [and] participation in special cleanup activities, shall take place.

But it didn’t stop there: Today you can also “celebrate” National PC Cleanup DayClean Up Your Room DayOr, I guess, Anything Else You Need Cleaned-up Day!
